Why I Am Running for Teaneck Town Council

I am running for the Teaneck Town Council to bring a fresh perspective and a renewed commitment to our community. My experience as an educator, Board of Education President, and community leader has prepared me to tackle the challenges facing Teaneck and to work collaboratively to create a brighter future for all residents.

I stand on four (4) grounding principles. I bring:

Education Excellence

Education is the cornerstone of a thriving community. My work with the Teaneck Board of Education and with the Math Adventures and Word Play (MAWP) program has shown me the transformative power of education. As a Council member, I will advocate for policies that support our schools, provide resources for students and teachers, and ensure that every child in Teaneck has access to high-quality education.

Community Engagement

Teaneck is a diverse and vibrant community, and it is essential that all voices are heard. I am committed to fostering an inclusive environment where residents feel empowered to participate in local government. By promoting transparency, accountability and open communication, we can build a stronger, more connected community.

Fiscal Responsibility

The financial well-being of our township is crucial for sustainable growth. As a Council member, I will prioritize fiscal responsibility and ensure that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and effectively.
